My New Skincare Routine with GLO Antiaging

This year I decided it was time to start taking better care of my skin. I've always been lazy when it comes to skincare, and now that I've finally committed to a routine I'm shocked at the difference it has made!

I was thrilled when GLO Antiaging Youth Lab reached out to help me with my skincare routine. Due to COVID-19 I wasn't able to go to the clinic for a consultation, however I had a great call with the owner and we talked all about my needs and concerns. She made helpful recommendations on what I was doing well, the areas that I could improve, and offered ideas on products and solutions that could be added into my routine.

Sunscreen

We all know sunscreen is important, but how often are you actually using it? During my consultation with GLO we talked all about the importance of using sunscreen daily even when indoors - it's so beneficial for reducing signs of sun damage and ageing. I am currently using a combination of two different sunscreens. The first is Total Defense + Repair SPF35 by Skin Medica. This is great for using on days that I don't want to wear makeup. The cream is light and is absorbed into my skin quickly without leaving any greasy feeling. I've also tried it under makeup and I would highly recommend it.

The second is a Sunscreen + Primer by ZO Skin Health. This one is a thicker tinted cream that goes on like a tinted moisturizer or foundation. I love to use this one under makeup as it gives my skin a really nice base before applying a full face of glam.

My daily routine is as follows:

Morning Routine

I wash my face using the ZO Skin Health Exfoliating Cleanser
Every 3 to 4 days I also use the ZO Skin Health Exfoliating Polish
Then I apply the ZO Skin Health 10% Vitamin C
Followed by the ZO Skin Health Daily Power Defense
Lastly I apply the sunscreen of my choice.
Then makeup if I'm wearing any that day.

Evening Routine

I wash my face using the ZO Skin Health Exfoliating Cleanser
I also like to use an Eye Make-up Remover and love this drug store option.
Every 3 - 4 days I also ZO Skin Health Complexion Renewal Pads
(GLO recommend cutting these pads in half to get more use out of them)
Followed by the Vivier Radiance Serum - just a few drops is needed
I am obsessed with this product! If you choose to try one thing this would be my recommendation)
I finish with the ZO Skin Health Growth Factor Serum. This feels incredible at the end of the day and it smells great!

Lashes

As most of you know I've had lash extensions for years and love how quick they made my makeup routine in the morning. Since I wasn't able to continue getting my lashes done at this time I was forced to take the extensions off - which left my natural lashes looking sad and stubby.

So I chatted with GLO about what they would recommend to help my natural lashes grow back thicker and longer. I started using Latisse about a month ago and it's already making some big improvements. I apply it every evening using the brushes they supply. I cant wait to see the full results in a few more months and share them with you all. Don't worry... I took some before photos so we can all see the difference.
